How to Make the Most of Your Money

I work with Gary Lewis at the Asset Design Center. He's been educating me about financial planning, and I am happy to share with you what I'm learning. For example:

• How most stockbrokers charge high fees that you don't see on your statements. I didn't know that.
• How a good financial plan can make the difference in whether your money lasts as long as you need it--and you can live the way you want to in retirement. I didn't believe that.
• How there really is a way to make a plan and make it work. Instead of just putting your money somewhere and praying the stock market behaves, you really can decide how much you want it to make--within the level of risk you're willing to take. I didn't believe that was possible.
